HDA Shortlisting – High Road

Very delighted to have our scheme for the Willesden Green Police Station shortlisted for the Housing Design Awards 2019. Respect for an existing unlisted but much-loved historical 1896 Police Station and community asset as well as two listed churches gives rise to a conservation-area sensitive design.

The resulting mixed-use scheme reinterprets the distinct local architectural styles to foster a dialogue between churches, police station and the adjacent residential street and creating a new architectural ensemble that provides future residents with a sense of identity.

Recently named as specialists on small sites between 20 and 80 units we are very existed to be speaking at Urban Design London in June to discuss the new London Plan and how small sites can sustainably contribute the London’s Housing need.
